Derwent Lodge Hotel is a traditional Georgian Manor House built in 1780 and set in 1.7 acres of grounds in the picture postcard village of Portinscale. It is a mere minutes walk from the shores of Derwentwater and just over 1 mile from the market town of Keswick. The property which opened in July 2007 has undergone total refurbishment both externally and internally and now offers 21st century facilities within the original stone building. From our slightly elevated position you can enjoy stunning views of Skiddaw Cat Bells and beautiful Derwentwater The Queen of the lakes. There is plentiful parking within our grounds for all guests’ cars as well as provision for cycles. Locked overnight cycle storage for guests on cycling holidays can be made available. Derwent Lodge is Non Smoking throughout. |
